Kaleidoskop took part in LUX Helsinki 2019 and 2020 - Finlands biggest light art event attracting around 500.000 visitors every year

Over the years 2019-2020 Kaleidoskop brought Danish light art to Finland. We co-curated a large scale pieces with a local Finnish artist, brought Danish pieces to the festival and spoke at the LUX Helsinki Symposium - a one-day conference on light art.

We curated the site specific art piece Magic Mirror in My Hand in collaboration Finish artist Mere Ekola. The piece dealt with how the urban scale and lack of human interaction caused by technology challenge basic human relations. Magic Mirror in My Hand created a rare large scale intimate experience for the large crowds of people passing by the Tokoinranta boat dock.

Besides from Meri Ekola the exhbition showed pieces by renowned artists like Dutch artist Ivo Schoofs, Danish artist Jacob Kvist, Czech artists Nohlab, Finish artist Katja Tukiainen/ OiOi and many more.
