“Lysspor i Folehavekvarteret” was a light hack and development project initiated by the Municipality of Copenhagen and conceptualized by Kaleidoskop

To explore the development possibilities for a large scale urban renewal plan for Folehavekvarteret we developed a light hack that evolved as a workshop format with facilitated talks.

Through small scale DIY light interventions and art hacks we invited the local community to explore all corners of the square and engage in conversations about the value of space and light.

The project sparked conversation and enabled a diverse group of local citizens to articulate aspirations for future use of the space where safety, respect and warm personal encounters where highlighted.
