For the Culture Night at Frederiksberg Municipality we curated light art for 8 of the most iconic cultural institutions - from the grand old buildings to the newest architectural icons.

Under the theme “Byen på Vrangen” Kaleidoskop created a narrative and experience concept that tied together the 8 institutions while highlight their unique characteristics.

The sites counted: Frederiksberg Municipality, Frederiksberg Library, The National Music Museum, Theatre Riddersalen, KU.BE Culturehouse, Water & Wellness Flintholm,
Musikhøjskolen and Frederiksberg Castle

We collaborated with a range of artists to work with just the right fit for the building. E.g. Jari Mattis who took a multicoloured and multiangular approach enhance the playfull DNA of KU.BE by reenacting a Tetris game on the surfaces.

Or Kirstine Autzen who worked with showcasing her craft, photography, through analogue projections on the white surface and backyard of Musikhøjskolen.
