Civil light activism - engaging a neighborhood through experimental and creative user-involvement

We created a light hack for the youth club Smedetoften and surrounding area in collaboration with Områdefornyelse Nordvest. Handheld fixtures, colour gels and effects were used to develop a series of temporary light intervensions together with the neighbours of Smedetoften - in order to offer a new framework for social engagement and a possibility for the locals to see their surroundings and the possibilities they offer, from new perspectives.
